Commissioned by the University of Glasgow’s Hunterian art gallery, this bold series of illustrations features eleven of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s most recognisable buildings. Hand drawn in ink, each building has been illustrated in detail to highlight it’s idiosyncratic - and celebrated - features. The black and white buildings are offset by the fresh turquoise colour behind. You can find all buildings in the main design and several key offerings across a range of products. Featured buildings include: Scotland street school, The Lighthouse, Queen’s Cross church, Daily Record building (Stereo), Hill House, House for an Art Lover, the Mackintosh House, the Willow Tearooms, the Glasgow School of Art and 11 Derngate.
Available as a large china mug, teatowel, prints, magnets, tote bag or ceramic coaster or tile, you can invite these smart homewares into your life and enjoy the Mackintosh magic anywhere! Available exclusively from the Hunterian gallery in Glasgow (and in my online shop).
