A jolly giclée colour print of pressed seaweed, joyfully hand-collected from the Ayrshire coast in Scotland!

Capturing a moment in time, the seaweed has been washed, pressed and allowed to dry into its current form. The colours are real, simply backlit to bring out their luminance and all holes, blemishes and folds are part of the artwork. I let nature do most of the work! This particular scrap of seaweed was collected in Spring 2024, in Ayrshire, Scotland.

(All the seaweed pictured is real, collected by me. I only collect small pieces floating in the shallows or from the shore and I never pull living seaweed from a plant.)
